Contract Position
Pay Estimated: \$84.40-\$89.40/Hour
**This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position
based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)**Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and
technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable
- Apply DevOps principles in CI/CD pipelines, automation,
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to
- Utilize AWS services to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions,
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and
- Implement and support monitoring, logging, and vulnerability
- Support Agile development cycles by participating in sprint planning
- Generate technical documentation and share system knowledge across
- Leverage AI tools to automate and enhance workflows.
- Contribute to secure API design, testing, and integration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Software Engineering or a
- Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law; must have
- Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master\'s
Programming: Proficient in Python and Java.
DevOps & Cloud:
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Nexus).
- Proficient with AWS (EKS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, KMS, S3, etc.);
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
- Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform and
- Configuration management experience using Ansible, Terragrunt,
Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
Monitoring & Security:
- Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, ACAS, Grype.
- Familiar with security best practices including encryption, PKI,
Additional Tools & Skills:
- Version control with Git.
- API development and management.
- Familiarity with Kafka messaging is a plus.
- Agile/Scaled Agile methodology experience.
- Expertise in YAML, JSON, UNIX/Linux scripting.
- Strong documentation and communication abilities.
