OVERVIEW:

As a trainer within Global Knowledge your primary role will be to represent Skillsoft ILT whilst delivering high quality education in accordance with vendor-specification, and to the quality standards documented in Skillsoft / Global Knowledge’s quality procedures.

 

A trainer will also provide sales support where necessary, keep abreast of technology and industry changes and feedback delegate’s sales leads in a timely fashion. When not on platform delivery trainers will work with sales and product management, providing sales support and customer engagement, respond to all operational, sales and customer requests within allotted time-scale and attend, where necessary vendor TTTs and be prepared to redeliver to all FTE trainers as and when required

 

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

· To be qualified and authorized to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed

· To deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling manager.

· To deliver training courses to the required quality standards as detailed in Global Knowledge’s quality procedures

· To adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew certificates and following required examination and invigilation guidelines.

· To pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team teaches are utilized to achieve these plans.

· To attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques as assessed in team teaches.

· To be prepared to deliver courses at all Global Knowledge centers and customer sites when required.

· To keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable.

· To provide sales support in the form of delegate leads and customer visits.

· To respond within given time-scales to all operational requests for contact, information and customer enquires.

· To manage the classroom and minimize delegate disruption and dissatisfaction.

· To work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilization meets or exceeds the company requirements.

· To adopt and display the SKS attitude – demonstrating a can do and positive attitude at all times.

· To establish, build and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.

· To perform any other duties as deemed necessary to support the growth and goals of Global Knowledge.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Essential

 

Exam passes in CCNA, CompTIA Network+ & Security+ in addition to any extra Network or Security Certification will be an add on . We can check in the vendor Portal page to confirm certifications
