ZS's Supply Chain & Manufacturing group helps our clients to drive higher product availability at lower costs (stock-outs, carrying costs, best quality, and supply chain operating costs) through leveraging analytics, automation, and process re-design approaches. Manager - Supply Chain Analytics
We are seeking a Manager to join the growing Supply Chain and Management Venture team. This role will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients across industries to improve supply chain performance. This person will have a particular focus on growing our business outside of the healthcare industry in several priority industries, i.e., Agribusiness & Food, Consumer Health, FMCG/Retail, Travel & Transportation, and Industrial Products.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with internal SCM leaders and account teams to pursue new business opportunities;
- Lead teams tasked with delivering Supply Chain consulting projects/programs, managing multiple engagements simultaneously;
- Ensure high-quality project deliverables and objective, fact-based recommendations are provided to clients;
- Present project deliverables to clients;
- Manage senior client relationships in Supply Chain roles, often serving as the primary ZS point of contact;
- Develop SCM venture intellectual capital to be used in marketing and business development;
- Provide inputs into the design of SCM Venture assets (e.g., Canary Decision Studio);
- Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for less experienced ZSers.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (e.g., engineering, computer science, economics, statistics);
- Graduate degree preferred;
- 10-15 years of experience ideally in consulting or similar role;
- Deep supply chain domain expertise, ideally focused on logistics & transportation and/or supply planning;
- Knowledge of data and technologies utilized by leading organizations to manage supply chains;
- Demonstrated success leading teams delivering complex projects;
- Skill set and motivation required to be successful in business development;
- Analytic problem-solving skills with an ability to see the big picture and delve into the details;
- Knowledge of and experience working in high growth industries – Consumer Products / Retail, Industrial Products, Agribusiness, High Tech, Travel & Hospitality; Lean/Six Sigma certifications;
- Fluency in English is required.
