Lockheed Martin's Next Gen Geo (NGG) OPIR Integration and Verification Team We are seeking an Associate Manager to lead one of our Agile Product teams.
In this position you will:
Be a part of the Next Generation Geo (NGG) ground segment program. We will be providing the next generation ground system - an open architecture/open framework system that will provide the customer with the flexibility to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
Lead a team of 10 - 15 individual contributors in support of product team execution whose primary focus is on the design, development, and testing of a combined hardware/software solution for operational delivery.
Assist the existing leadership team with vetting, hiring, staffing and building strong teams.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader, someone who loves a challenge and always rises to the occasion to ensure success of those around them. They embrace modern development practices and insist that others do as well. They will be a self-starting leader, adapting to new tools/processes and will be eager to introduce automation when necessary. Basic Qualifications:
Previous OPIR training experience with Satellite Ground System and TT&C
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills
Previous leadership experience
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
Desired Skills:
Previous SBIRS/NGG training experience with Satellite Ground System and TT&C
Previous experience with Launch and Early Orbit Testing
Well-organized, self-starter able to take direction and works well both independently and in a team environment
Ability to work with limited supervision while leading teams to include collaborating across the NGG environment
Previous operational certification is considered a plus
Active TS/SCI security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
