Job Title: Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Test Engineer with over 8 years of experience in systems engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing test procedures and executing test scripts to evaluate system performance.
Responsibilities
Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams
Performing requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.
Developing test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events
Decomposing system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions
Supporting the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities
Participating in the development and execution of program milestones events such as Customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards
Conducting testing events of software solutions and generating test result documentation
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, IT or related engineering field
At least 3 years of professional experience working in software development or systems engineering
Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment
Ability to develop requirements
Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements
Ability to develop tracings between requirements, code, and verification
Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance

This is a hybrid role based in either Colorado Springs or Denver Metro. The company offers a small-company feel with opportunities for professional growth and development. The team is expanding, adding new members across both offices. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $64.00/hr.
