At GroundGame.Health, we close the health equity gap by leveraging digital technology to help eliminate inequities in the US healthcare delivery system by removing social determinant barriers for members who need help.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer/Director to lead and manage a technical team within our global IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for directing daily operations, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, and setting deadlines. You will work closely with department heads, managers, and external vendors to coordinate projects, resolve issues, and ensure smooth technical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other IT staff.
- Coordinate operational activities and technical support across the organization.
- Review and plan project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users for computer-related problems.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
Technical Skills & Technologies:
- Advanced proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, and related tools.
- Strong experience with Azure services, cloud-based architectures, microservices, and integration technologies.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server for database management, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and database design.
- Foundation in machine learning and data analytics, with the ability to apply these concepts to improve business processes and optimize operations workflows.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, and performance optimization in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience managing Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and handling cloud infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field; Master’s Degree in Engineering Science, Data Analytics, or related field, with a focus on machine learning, data analytics, or similar disciplines is highly preferred.
- Experience: At least 12 years of work experience in the technology and health insurance industry, with 6 to 7 years of experience leading both small and large teams.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Customer Account Management, especially in Health Insurance.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations impacting the health industry.
