Tax Director – Banking Industry – up to $230K + Bonus + Equity

Roessel Joy has partnered with a regionally recognized bank who is seeking to add a Tax Director to their Stoneham, MA office team. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with ASC 740 experience and a public background.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Preparation of the Tax Provision in Accordance with ASC 740
• Review and approve all staff work related to the tax provision, tax return workpapers, tax credit investments, and disclosures.
• Managment of 1 staff member
• Tax-credit investments review and ensure utilization of all tax credits
• K-1 collection and tracking

Qualifications of the role:

• CPA or MST is highly preferred
• Banking industry background, 2+ years of experience in public (ideally working on banking or financial services clients)
• 8+ years of experience in taxation
