Job Description:
This candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in the sales process, providing technical expertise, driving product solutions, and working closely with clients to meet their needs. You will be responsible for driving revenue, building relationships with new and existing customers, and providing technical support throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the pre-sales and post-sales phases.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, including detailed specifications and cost estimates.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other business development activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product updates, and competitive offerings.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve products and services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
- MUST have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Chemical).
- 2+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales role.
- 2/3 days per week in office and the remaining on the road.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to engage with clients, understand their technical needs, and offer solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
