Job description
The Technical Writer is responsible for writing and editing technical documentation, training materials, and deliverables for both internal and external customers. Duties include:
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to document processes related to Organizational Transformation and Leadership Development.
- Coordinating graphic displays and document production.
- Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining various technical documents such as Meeting Minutes, Project Schedules, System Design Documents, Testing Plans, Implementation Plans, and Training materials.
- Designing layouts for publication.
- Analyzing field developments to update or create new materials.
- Creating sketches to illustrate materials or assembly sequences.
- Working directly with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, and Project Managers.
Must be US and Clearable.
Education:
- BA/BS degree required
Skills:
- Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
- Proven technical writing and presentation skills.
- Self-organized, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Technical Writer.
Compensation:
The estimated salary range is $27-60/hr, based on skills, experience, and organizational needs. Salary figures are guidelines and may vary.
Work Environment:
Primary location is Las Vegas, Nevada. Remote work is permitted but not guaranteed. Travel expenses are not reimbursed for non-local candidates.
