Transportation facility is seeking a hard working individual for a Terminal Manager position in Vancouver, WA.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and grow independent contractor fleet along with customer base
- Work with Safety Director and Regional Manager in improving company CSA Scores
- Perform walk around tractor inspections
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations per customer requests or needs
- Receive or prepare work orders
- Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories
- Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules
- Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information
- Interact with multiple customers daily: written and verbal
- Responsible for increasing revenue and controlling costs
- Employee interaction; hiring; promoting; disciplinary proceedings and training
- Internal work performance audits
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of rail intermodal container experience
- Must prioritize safety in all aspects of operations
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to multi-task effectively
- Strong leadership skills a must.
- Previous management experience in a similar environment required.
- Previous experience with profit & loss reporting preferred.
- Looking for hard working and energetic team player.
