Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team, working within our High Voltage research lab and testing lab. This role involves physically wiring circuits, moving between labs, setting up and running tests, and analyzing data. You will collaborate closely with engineers, swapping roles as needed, and contribute to building, modifying, and testing prototypes and fixtures.
Responsibilities
Physically wire circuits and work between the control room and testing labs.
Set up, run, and take measurements from test samples.
Report findings to engineers in the control room.
Edit and upload test shot videos to online systems.
Build, modify, and test prototypes and fixtures for various testing.
Ensure safety and functionality when working with high voltage equipment.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in a Test Lab/R&D environment with DC testing.
Comfortable working in a high voltage lab setting.
Strong understanding of electricity functions and circuitry.
Experience wiring electrical circuits in-series or parallel.
Proficient with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, multimeters, and resistance meters.
Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior high-power, generator-based lab experience.
Experience building and testing development prototypes.
Associates Degree in Electronics.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00/hr.
