• Be the mastermind behind SIUE\'s benefits strategy, ensuring

it\'s competitive, compliant, and aligned with our university\'s mission.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire our rockstar benefits team to deliver

top-tier service with heart.

• Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, federal/state

laws, and bargaining agreements to guide your strategy.

• Evaluate what\'s working (and what\'s not) using smart metrics and

analytics - then tweak, tailor, and transform accordingly.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource

Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a field closely related to the position\

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience administering employee

benefits\

• Minimum of 2 years experience supervising benefits staff\
• Knowledge of all federal state and local regulations and compliance

requirements related to employee benefits\

• Demonstrated experience with Excel reporting and analytics\ \

Preferred Qualifications:\

• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)\
• PHR/SPHR or CP/SCP HR Certification\ \
