Job Title: Trailer Mechanic
Job Description
As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on trailers, diagnosing issues within systems such as electrical and suspension, and repairing or replacing damaged parts. Your role will involve welding and fabrication as needed, maintaining accurate records of all work performed, and effectively communicating with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
Diagnose issues with trailer systems, including electrical and suspension.
Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including tires, brakes, and suspension components.
Execute welding and fabrication work as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Communicate with customers about repairs and maintenance.
Essential Skills
Expertise in trailer repair.
Knowledge of diesel engines and maintenance.
Proficiency in brake systems and preventive maintenance.
Experience with transmissions and truck engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license.
Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs using diagnostic tools such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, and Windows.
Experience in trailer and diesel maintenance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
