Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Tustin, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing daily cash operations and supporting treasury functions to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily cash management activities, including initiating electronic payments and reviewing account balances.
Monitor daily cash positions to ensure sufficient funds are available for financial commitments.
Analyze and refine short-term cash flow forecast models to optimize borrowing and repayment decisions.
Assist with a variety of treasury-related tasks and projects as needed.
Prepare and review reports on credit card transactions, including an assessment of associated fees.
Conduct detailed analyses of bank charges to verify accuracy and reduce costs.
Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from operational branches regarding treasury matters.
Calculate interest for the debt portfolio and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Support month-end closing processes by preparing relevant documentation and addressing audit requests.
Help update and maintain treasury policies and procedures to align with best practices. Requirements - Proven experience in banking operations or corporate treasury functions.
Strong knowledge of cash management practices, including daily cash flow analysis and forecasting.
Proficiency in handling electronic payment systems such as wire transfers.
Solid understanding of cash flow reporting and debt management.
Strong analytical skills, particularly with bank charges and financial data.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments and respond to inquiries.
Proficiency in financial tools and software commonly used in treasury operations.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
