Job Title: Triple Hat (Super/QCM/SSHO)Job Description
The role involves overseeing various aspects of construction project management, including progress tracking, collaboration with subcontractors, cost control, schedule maintenance, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will ensure all safety guidelines are implemented, manage emergency procedures, and facilitate safety training and audits.
Responsibilities
Apprise project management of assigned project's progress, issues, and concerns.
Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to mobilize and administer efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
Control changes to the cost baseline and monitor cost performance to detect variances.
Maintain the project's schedule by determining resources, quantities, and availability.
Prepare three-week look-ahead and long lead item schedules.
Notify management of events impacting the schedule negatively.
Manage all aspects of subcontractors and provide direction for close-out documents.
Obtain all certificates and conduct final inspections prior to project close-out.
Oversee quality assurance activities to ensure continuous process improvement.
Provide accurate invoicing and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Implement applicable safety guidelines and adhere to company safety policy.
Assist in controlling hazardous conditions and unsafe employee activities.
Supervise and coordinate project emergency action procedures.
Develop and administer job site safety and environmental training.
Complete daily project safety audits and investigations.
Ensure project site conforms to all applicable safety regulations.
Document all accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions.
Provide problem resolution for sites violating safety standards.
Support OSHA compliance officers and insurance inspectors during audits.
Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
Maintain all safety documents for the project site.
Facilitate necessary safety meetings and submit unplanned event forms for work-related injuries.
Essential Skills
Expertise in construction management and construction.
10+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager, Safety Manager, and Quality Control Manager.
Current OSHA 30 certification.
USACE EM 385-1-1 certification.
USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification.
Work Environment
The position is based at Joint Base North Charleston, South Carolina, requiring adherence to military base protocols and standards.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
