Veterans Transition Program-Associate Aladdin Client Experience
We recognize that veterans bring a unique and valued perspective to BlackRock thanks to their extraordinary backgrounds and experiences. The Veterans Transition Program is designed to support veterans in making the transition from military life to the civilian workforce. The Program offers participants the opportunity to work at the world's largest asset manager for six months. On completion of the Program, successful participants will be offered permanent employment at BlackRock.
Over the course of the Program, participants will:
Join teams and have an immediate impact;
Immerse themselves in the work of their teams;
Gain an understanding of how BlackRock serves its clients;
Be supported through training and mentorship;
Get exposure to senior leaders;
Participate in social and networking opportunities.
Program Structure:
The program begins with an orientation where you'll learn about BlackRock's principles, mission, purpose, and culture. You'll learn about the asset management industry and get an in-depth look at how BlackRock serves its clients. Following orientation, you'll join your team and gain insights into the day-to-day life of an Associate as you develop subject-matter expertise through on-the-job learning and our industry-leading technology, Aladdin.

In this role, you will:
Own, alongside client team, the comprehensive oversight and delivery of service for clients of theAladdin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lzn2Av6QHK4) ® business, connecting multiple partner teams to deliver a cohesive client experience.
Own relationships with client SME's, "super-users" of the platform and C-level communication on projects status.
Develop a deep understanding of your client's business objectives, and leverage Aladdin expertise to achieve their organizational goals and regulation needs.
Build strong relationships within BlackRock Solutions, in support of your clients
Utilize Aladdin's suite of risk modeling, trade, compliance, and post-trade capabilities to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients.
Work closely with Aladdin product managers, developers, financial modelers and specialists to further the value proposition of the Aladdin platform.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at reducing client issues.
Implement internal process adjustments to elevate client experience and reduce incident count.
Ensure timely and accurate day-to-day BAU client support, in partnership with internal teams.
Host service KPI meetings and oversee holistic service metrics, proactively monitoring inquiry health.
Adapt internal best practices to improve aspects of service as identified in KPI metrics.
Identify workflow gaps and areas for synergy across client base and work with partner teams to implement solutions in mass.

You have:
5+ years of experience for Vice President, in financial services, Technology, Consulting or Buy Side firm.
A working understanding of equity, fixed income, alternatives, and derivative markets. Analytics or compliance, trading, and operations with experience in advising clients and/or adapting technology solutions for portfolio strategies, portfolio optimization, risk assessments, and performance attribution or post-trade workflows
Familiarity with buy-side investment management workflows, proficient in market trends
A consultative approach to understanding client needs and a passion for solving problems
Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a hands-on approach
Strong interest in technology and an aptitude for learning new systems
Emotional ownership, pride in what you do and a strong team ethos
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop lasting partnerships with client' senior management
Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients
Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team
Business fluent, excellent communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
You may have:
Direct portfolio / risk management, trading, compliance, or operations analyst experience
Proficiency in working with large sets of data
A working knowledge of SQL, UNIX, VBA, R, Python, or similar tools, and/or Aladdin

Program Eligibility:
Minimum of 2 years of Active Uniformed service
<5 years of civilian work experience
Bachelor's degree obtained pre- or post-military service
Open to all U.S. Veterans, regardless of rank or branch of service
Must be able to commence employment in October 2025

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$147,500.00 - USD$195,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
