Job Summary:
The Vice President, Corporate Services, is a keymember of the Cooperative's Senior Leadership team, responsible for ensuring HumanResources, Safety & Training, Corporate Security and Investigations andother assigned areas align with and support the strategic direction of the Cooperative.This position is responsible for planning, managing, and directing all areas ofHuman Resources, including leadership and career development, successionplanning, compensation, and benefits. This position is responsible for settingpolicies, practices, and processes, and implementing them in compliance withall applicable laws and regulations. The position leads the Safety culture acrossthe Cooperative, maintains the security of the GreyStone headquarters andassets across our service territory, and is responsible for corporaterepresentation in the communities GreyStone serves.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Management, or related field required.
- Master's in business administration (MBA) or related field preferred.
- Juris Doctor preferred.
- Ten years of experience in human resources, employment law, Safety and Training, or related field preferred; managerial experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly within the utility sector.
- Requires a valid Georgia driver's license.
- Satisfactorily pass GreyStone's pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, criminal and credit background check.Critical Thinking Skills

Financial Management Skills
- Ability to understand financial statements and assess divisional impacts to expenses and the bottom line.
- Ability to understand and monitor variances in actual results to plan.
Technology and Communication Skills
- Proficient command of Office Productivity Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills to prepare business correspondence, reports, and presentations with speed and accuracy.
- Skill in writing grammatically correct routine business correspondence such as letters, emails, meeting minutes, and other documents as required.
- Ability to make oral group presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion, action and/or provide information or explain procedures, policies, etc.
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and experience in facilitation /resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute.

Department leadership (managers or directors) ofCorporate Security and Utilities Investigations, Safety and Training, and Human Resources

This is a diversified job in a general office environment requiringsitting and using a computer as well as requiring sustained mental effortrelated to public contacts, organizational issues, planning and technicalareas, public speaking, and non-standard business hours. Some business traveland occasional driving is required.
