MyPoint is seeking a VP of IT for our corporate office is Kearny Mesa. The position will be responsible for the full scope of the Information Technology and Information Systems functions. The position will provide leadership in the research and forecasting of future needs and opportunities in information systems and technology.
This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all areas of the IT department, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities and staff involved in the study, design, development and installation of data processing systems, including systems analysis, programming and computer operations.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields with an active certification in a related field.
- Eight (8) years of senior level experience in a financial institution, with progressively increasing managerial roles, in system design, planning and installation.
- Proven abilities in managing, leading, and coaching teams with a strong customer service focus.
- Proven experience in researching and identifying technologies that will enhance or provide new services to drive our member experience or internal efficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to correspond with all levels of staff, members, board and committee members, and general public.
Symitar experience a plus.
Starting range: $160,000 - $200,000 per year.
