Video Production Specialist (Manufacturing Training Content)
Contract (12–18 months with potential for extensions or conversion)
Hybrid in Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3 days/week)
Our global manufacturing client is seeking a Video Production Specialist to support training development efforts focused on shop floor operations, particularly around scanning systems and devices within a warehousing and production environment. This individual will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and trainers to capture, edit, and produce high-quality instructional videos using platforms such as Deephow (experience with Deephow is a plus, but not required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SMEs and trainers to plan and execute training video content for manufacturing and warehouse environments.
- Film, edit, and splice video footage to create clear, concise, and engaging training materials.
- Utilize tools such as Deephow to publish and organize multilingual video content.
- Ensure all content meets organizational standards for instructional quality and compliance.
- Incorporate feedback from SMEs and stakeholders to revise and improve training videos.
- Maintain a schedule of content production to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing and production, particularly for training or instructional purposes.
- Strong proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia, or similar).
- Familiarity with manufacturing or warehousing environments and processes.
- Ability to work effectively with technical staff and translate complex processes into understandable video content.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently as well as in collaboration with a broader change management team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Deephow or other video-based training tools.
- Knowledge of multilingual video production or localization best practices.
